So one of the IT Team Administrators has deleted a live database "by mistake" while performing database maintenance.
Last backup was done last night at 20:00.
As far as I am concerned, this is an act of negligence, because the Administrator should have taken due care before beginning such a process on a live database.
Two questions:
1. Whats the best way to recover the deleted database?
2. From a management perspective, how do you deal with the staff member. All he said is "I am sorry" and that's not good enough.
