I was wondering if anyone know any programs or software I can either get for free or purchase that would recover data from an accidentally formatted computer with an Intel SSD (480GB, not sure of the model but it's about 2 to 3 years old)? It was previously installed with Windows XP (NTFS), non encrypted and now it's installed with Windows 7 Pro (non encrypted).
I know that SSDs come with built-in encryption with hardware but I wanted to know if anyone had success with recovering data from a SSD? I called up Drivesavers and they said it might be possible but it's going to run like $700+ to do a standard recovery, I figured maybe I can just buy some software to try to recover it first before sending it to a service like Drivesavers.
