Before I even start, yes, I know, backup, backup. my excuse is it wasnt needed until it was gone. is our legacy system so I finally took it out of the backup loop since we backup a little locally and then send to "the cloud". server is an IBM with 8 drives set to a raid 10. controller seems to have gone so I have one being shipped in. I am new to the windows server world (8years) and this is only the second array that I have attempted to recover so a little nervous. is there a point during boot up or config that I should be worried about overwriting data?
